DELPHOS — During Wednesday’s Library Board meeting, members were informed Cotterman Company would soon begin roof replacement on the older section of the library. A leak in the new section, which prompted removal of books, will be repaired by M & W Construction.
Library Director Nancy Mericle noted that April 14-19 is National Library Week and library fines will be suspended and prizes given away. Special programs are planned, including: “Collection Organization” by Janet Jackson on Wednesday; a folk singing group, the Conkers, will perform on April 17; and the Book Club with Sara Berelsman will begin on April 19.
Proposals were presented by BP Imaging Solutions and Assured Micro-Services to replace micro-film machines in the genealogy room. The board postponed a decision until the May meeting so a representative from the companies can be present to demonstrate the machines.
