Arline F. Sendelbach

Arline F. Sendelbach, 88, of Delphos, and formerly of Highland, Calif., died at 3:10 a.m. Sunday at Vancrest Health Care Center.
She was born Oct. 17, 1919, in Delphos, to Aloysius and Amelia (Brueckner) Sendelbach.
Survivors include brothers James (Betty) Sendelbach of Ottawa and George Sendelbach of Medford, Ore.; sister-in-law Nancy Sendelbach; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Norman and Leroy Sendelbach and sisters Mary Rita Miller, Joan Ulm and Patricia Arnoldi.
Ms. Sendelbach retired from the federal government after 31 years of employment. She started as a secretary at the Lima Ordinance Depot, where she worked for 10 years, then moved to California and retired as chief of the administration and MGT branch for the United States Air Force. She held membership with St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and was past president and honorary member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a 1937 St. John’s High School graduate who was a proud alumnus who collected newsletters and recently donated them to the alumni association. She loved to travel especially to Las Vegas, and play bingo.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, the Rev. George Maramkandom officiating. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.
Preferred memorials are to the church.
