Students celebrate Ohio’s 205th birthday

Celebrating OhioMiss Mary’s first grade class at St. John’s Elementary School on Friday celebrated Ohio’s 205th birthday. Ohio became the 17th state March 1, 1803. The students learned the state motto, “With God All Things Are Possible,” the names of the eight presidents born in Ohio and other trivia such as the state flower, bird, insect, facts about the state flag and more.
