Library services counting on levy passage
The library needs your help. On March 4, we are asking for your yes vote on the renewal levy of .60 mills. This levy has been in place since 1978 and is a very important part of our budget. In the last few years we have made some significant changes to our building. Feedback from patrons has all been positive.
This year the roof needs to be replaced on the main part of the building and the computer system needs to be updated — both expensive projects.
The library offers a wide variety of services from tax forms and genealogy materials to puppets and the summer reading program. Where else can the whole family visit and find something to interest every member. For just pennies a day, everyone in the community has access to all of these services.
Remember — vote yes on March 4.

Casual snooping turns serious when a body is impaled on a garden tool and one of Paula’s friends is arrested for the crime. Kiss of a Dolphin — Tom Tuohy
This is the story of Dreams for Kids. It is a story of compassion, acceptance, and love — the innate qualities of a dolphin. These moving, real-life stories of children who have been given an opportunity to achieve what they thought impossible, take us on a journey of courage and determination. With the compassion and acceptance of others, these children found the courage to refuse to allow the circumstances of their lives determine the quality of their days. Children came from the sidelines of life to sail, golf, water-ski, and play sports that previously existed only in their dreams, and were met with the grace of idols and everyday people, who unselfishly gave their time and their hearts. Dreams for Kids has empowered and positively influenced more than 20,000 children.
