The Van Wert Animal Protective League has available for adoption the following pets:
CATS
Bonnie is a 3-year-old fluffy calico female. She’s been living at the Humane Society for more than a year and can’t wait to go to her forever home. She’s very affectionate, but loves to play, too! She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and all ready to go!
“Scooter,” 3-months-old male white/gray;
eight 3-months-old kittens;
one black/tan female cat;
“Boots,” 9-months-old gray/yellow female;
“Sweetheart,” 2-year-old female, gray/yellow.
DOGS
Barker is a 3-year-old neutered, male plothound mix. He lived with many other dogs and did not receive the attention he needed. He is very sweet and playful once you spend some time with him. He does pretty well on a leash and will improve with practice.
“Cocoa,” 5-year-old spayed female Akita/lab
“Blue,” 2-year-old female Aussie mix;
“Bear,” 2 1/2 year-old male husky/shepherd;
four 4-months-old boxi/poo pups;
“Brutus,” male reddish brown dog.
