Business collects items for ‘Operation Troop Support’
Andy North, left, of Edward Jones Investments presents Knights of Columbus Operation Troop Support coordinator Jerry Backus with items collected during the business open house in December. “Operation Troop Support” involves the collection, purchase and shipping of personal items to be sent to local and area soldiers.The Knights are asking all area families who have a loved one serving in Iraq, Afghanistan or Kuwait to contact them with the name and address of their soldier so they can be put on the list to be mailed packages. If special items are needed, add those when giving the name and address. Participation is not limited to those in the immediate area.
