Injury accident at Piquad, Grubb roads
Emma Jones of Columbus is rescued from the vehicle she was driving westbound on Piquad Road at approximately 1:20 p.m. Thursday. The car was struck by a vehicle (background) driven by Candy Brooks of Delphos. Brooks, who was southbound on Grubb Road, has been cited for failure to yield after running the stop sign. She is listed in fair condition at St. Rita’s Medical Center. Her passenger, Dale Brooks of Delphos, was treated and released, as was Jones and her passenger, Douglas Jones of Venedocia. Delphos Fire and Rescue assisted the American Township Fire Department, which was first on the scene. The Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
