Walt and Janet (Gasser) Hoersten of Fort Jennings celebrated 40 years of marriage Nov. 17 with a Catholic Mass and party.
The couple was married Nov. 23, 1967 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Jennings.
They are the parents of Duane (Cindy), Chris (Wendy) and Kevin (Molly) Hoersten and Kari (Darrin) German, all of Fort Jennings.
Their six grandchildren are Ryan, Alexis, Katelynn, Evan and Adam Hoersten and Mason German.
Mr. Hoersten is retired from GKN in Van Wert and Mrs. Hoersten is employed at the Fort Jennings Branch Library.
