Norman and Norma (Schimmoeller) Hesseling celebrated 50 years of marriage Nov. 30 with a dinner at a Lima restaurant.
The couple was married on that date in 1957 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ottoville, the Rev. J.F. Frommherz officiating.
They are the parents of Dale of Delphos, Joyce Perry of Lima, Karen (Wade) DeVelvis of Cloverdale, Diane Bowers of Delphos, Jan (Jim) Draime of Massillon and Alan of Columbia City, Ind.
They also have eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Both are retired from Vancrest Health Care Center and Mr. Hesseling is also retired from Bordens and Fischers Cheese Company.
