Pet Corner
The Humane Society of Allen County has many pets waiting to be adopted. Each comes with a spay or neuter, first shots, and a heartworm test.

The Animal Protective League has available for adoption the following pets:
CATS
Gertrude is a 1 1/2-year-old black and tan shepherd mix. She is a Katrina survivor. She loves people and is a beautiful girl. She does not like other dogs. So she would do great if she was your center of attention.
Adult cats and 6-week-old and older kittens, box trained;
“Poot,” 10-months-old female cat;
“Chase,” adult spayed declawed female cat;
“Tigger,” adult spayed declawed female cat;
“Boots,” gray/white declawed box trained cat;
“Jovi,” 2-year-old male tiger, declawed;
“Johnny,” 2-year-old neutered male, declawed two feet;
“Emma,” 2-year-old spayed female, declawed two feet.
DOGS
Gus is an 11-month-old short-haired orange and white tiger male. The nice people here at the Humane Society have been taking care of me for just over a month now, but I would love to have a home where I can romp and play! I am neutered and up-to-date on my shots, and ready to come home with you!

“Harley,” 3 1/2-year-old neutered male yellow lab;
“Mercedes,” 8-months-old female boxer/Irish wolfhound;
