Preliminary tryouts for the Canal Days Karaoke Contest continue from 8-10 p.m. Tuesday at Delphos Recreation Center; and Aug. 14 at Kosta’s Topp Chalet.
Registration forms can be picked up at the Delphos Area Chamber of Commerce during regular office hours or at these sponsor locations: Thermo King of Delphos, Quest DJ Service, The Doug-out Sports Gallery, First Federal Bank and Maverick Media.
Contestants must be 14 years of age or older and the contest is limited to solo vocal entertainers only.
The performances will be scored by a panel of judges in three categories: voice quality, difficulty of song and song performance.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three contest winners at the finals during Canal Days.
