Baseball tourney still has openings

Thunder Sports is hosting a 14-U, 12-U, 11-U, 10-U and 9-U baseball tournament Aug. 9-14.
Games will be played in Hartford City and Montpelier. Little League rules will apply unless otherwise noted. 14-U will follow high school rules. Contact John Hendricks at 765-348-6413 or email hendricksjohn@hotmail.com. Deadline to register is Monday.
Cost for the tournament is $250, with a guarantee of 3 games. A single-elimination tournament will follow pool play. 14-U games will be played at the Hartford City Babe Ruth Park. Entry forms can be found at www.thundercamps.com
Fall softball league forming
Celina’s Fall Softball league in now accepting registration forms.
The league will start on Aug. 19 and will play six weekend doubleheaders.
It is open to girls in grades 6-12 and will be divided into two different divisions: grades 6-8 (junior high) and grades 9-12 (high school).
The cost is $100 for high school players and $95 for junior high players. The deadline to register is Saturday. Registrations forms can be printed out at www. Celina softball.com
