Raymond D. “Sonny” Zenz, 72, of Delphos, died at 4 p.m. Sunday at Roselawn Manor Nursing Home in Spencerville.
He was born Oct. 28, 1934, to Raymond and Beulah (Fair) Zenz.
On June 27, 1983, he married Theresa (Swinehart) Zenz, who survives in Delphos.
Other survivors include sons Raymond “Steve” Zenz of Spencerville, Greg Zenz of Delphos and Doug (Heather) Zenz of Van Wert; stepson Ken (Katie) Bame of California; stepdaughters Sonia (Rich) Smith of California and Nicolle (John) Wheeler of Elida; and four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Mr. Zenz retired from Ford after 32 years. He was a past member of the Moose and Eagles lodges. He enjoyed traveling and fishing. He adored his grandson, Johnny.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, the Rev. Wayne Prater officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
