The Humane Society of Allen County has many pets waiting to be adopted. Each comes with a spay or neuter, first shots, and a heartworm test.

The Humane Society of Allen County is located at 3606 Elida Road, Lima, and can be contacted at 419-991-1775.

The Animal Protective League has available for adoption the following pets:

CATS

Ebony is a black cat that has been neutered and is current on his shots. He is a sweet cat who loves affection and never turns down the chance to play and have a good time.

Cats and kittens 4 months and older, indoors and out.

DOGS

Butterscotch is a tan lab mix that loves to play. He likes going for rides, walks well on a leash and knows sit, come, down, and speak. He is housetrained.

Buddy, 5-year-old male chow/lab, housebroken;

Grady, 1-year-old neutered male boxer mix, housebroken;

Mac, 1-year-old male part border collie;

Nine 9-week-old puppies, part lab.
