Girton/Shindollar
David and Marge Shindollar of rural Spencerville announce the engagement of their son, Mathew Jon, to Christine Elaine Girton, daughter of Timothy and Susan Girton of Muncie, Ind.
The couple will exchange vows March 31 at Eden United Church of Christ in Muncie.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Spencerville High School and Miami University. He is employed as a senior buyer and commodity trader in the grain and ethanol division of Anderson’s, Inc.
His fiancé is a graduate of Muncie Central High School and the University of Notre Dame. She is pursuing a master of arts degree in public relations at Ball State University and is employed as the manager of events, education and training for the Michigan Primary Care Association in Lansing, Mich.
