Bearcat boys bump off Cardinals
SPENCERVILLE — Spencerville’s boys hardwood unit outscored New Bremen 25-13 in the fourth period to turn a relatively close game into a 58-39 rout Saturday night at “The Walk-In Closet” of Spencerville High School.
The Bearcats (12-4) used its senior guard tandem of Logan Nourse (20 markers) and Isaac Bowers (12) to lead the way.
Scott Schnelle was the only Cardinals’ player to get going as he downed 19 points.
The Bearcats trek to Ada to battle the Bulldogs Friday.
